Sales Policy

Last Updated: August 5, 2023

Thank you for considering purchasing one of our goats! If you have any questions regarding any of the terms below, please reach out and we can discuss.

General Sales Policy
We reserve the right to refuse sale to anyone if we believe it is in the best interest of the goat.

We reserve the right to cancel any sale at any time. If a deposit has been made on a sale that we terminate then it will be refunded.

We reserve the right to retain any kid.

We reserve the right to modify our breeding schedule at any time.

No goat is truly reserved until the buyer has placed a deposit.

We offer discounts for repeat buyers or multiple goats.

All bucklings born from first fresheners will be available as wethers. Our herd is young. For that reason, we will sell all bucklings as wethers until our goats prove themselves through their udder quality, show wins, and milk production.

We guarantee that all of our goats are healthy when they leave our farm. However, we cannot guarantee the health of our goats once they leave our farm, as there are many factors that can affect their health after they are sold. These factors include the new owner's care, the goat's diet, and the environment in which the goat lives.

Pricing
All wethers are $150 each. The pricing for other kids varies based on the genetics, milk production results, and show wins of the dam/sire.

Waitlist & Reservations
We offer a kidding waitlist for potential buyers interested in upcoming kiddings. To be placed on the list, please contact us via email or Facebook. A deposit is not required to be added to the waitlist. Requesting to be added does not commit you to buying a kid, but it does give you priority to be notified of available kids based on your expressed interests in certain criteria or a specific breeding.

If a kid becomes available that meets your expressed interest, we will contact you. You have 48 hours to decide whether to reserve the kid by sending us a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of 50% of the purchase price. We accept payment via PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, or cash. If you decide not to reserve the kid or we do not hear from you within 48 hours, we will offer the kid to the next person on the waitlist. When reserving a kid, arrangements for pick up should be discussed and agreed upon by both parties. Arranging transportation is the buyer’s responsibility. The remaining balance must be paid at pick up. Deposits are not refunded if you cancel a reservation.

We disbud all of our kids at an early age. We do not have any polled goats in our breeding program. If a buyer requests a horned kid, the full price of the kid must be received within 3 days of its birth. The reservation is NON-REFUNDABLE if the buyer cancels.

We will refund a deposit if we decide to retain a kid, if the kid becomes unhealthy or passes away, or if we discover any defect or deformity.

We primarily raise kids as bottle babies, but we will occasionally raise some as a combination of bottle feeding and dam raising. We understand that not all goat buyers have the knowledge and experience of raising bottle kids. We want to prioritize the health of our kids and set them up for success, so we want to work with buyers to ensure they go to their new homes when it is appropriate. To ensure kids are well-trained on the bottle and healthy, we will not let bottle babies go to their new homes until they are at least 3-4 weeks old. We are happy to teach buyers about bottle feeding, and we are willing to hold a kid until they are 8 weeks old if the buyer is willing to continue feeding them a bottle a day for 2-4 more weeks. If bottle feeding is not an interest, we can hold the kid until weaning age of 10-12 weeks. When you are requesting to be added to the interest waitlist, please let us know your preference and experience around bottle feeding.
