Early in 2022, we set out on a search to add another doe that could improve the genetics of our herd. We had been admiring the goats at Wings & Caprines for some time, but we were anxious to take on a bottle baby. We finally took the plunge and added MoonPie to the farm. She was a bouncing bundle of joy that followed us everywhere, so we immediately fell deeply in love. She is hands down the sweetest goat in the herd, and we adore her personality. Moonpie and her breeder, Josie, influenced us to change our practice of dam raising to now raising bottle babies.

Moonpie's dam, SGCH Wings & Caprines IR Red Hot 2*M, earned an LA score of V+VV 87 as a 2yo 2nd freshener. She has an impressive show record earning a dry leg as a junior and a 2nd leg as a yearling milker. Moonpie's sire, CUatLilRedBarn Sir Charms *B, received an LA score of +VV 85 as a 2yo. Sir Charms' dam, GCH Jasper's Harem JB Coco Puff 2*M, placed 1st in her class at the 2018 ADGA National Show. We are excited to see how she matures.
